A note from German Velasco

A great equalizer, old or young, rich or poor, is how to grapple with grief following a disaster. 

​

My niece, Cecilia “Ceci” went missing on September 2, 2020 while she was trekking through the remote Amazonian region of Beni, Bolivia. 
​

I began interviewing my nephews simply to catch-up with their strategy and be able to help. Watching the interviews was the inspiration to tell this story to the world.

​​

Alongside Ceci’s brothers, my nephews German and Javier, we have been tracking, documenting and filming our efforts and struggles culminating in a documentary film.

​

A sincere thank you for the love and support of our friends and family who helped make this project a real document that tells a story.
